Last weekend we again had the honour to host a workshop with Leon Chaitow ND DO.
It was the second time that Mr Chaitow, who has written more than 74 books on soft tissue and naturopathic subjects had come to The Massage Training School (previously in March 2009 to teach MUSCLE ENERGY TECHNIQUES). On this occasion he foused on BREATHING PATTERN DISORDER. This 2 days course was attended by chiropractors, osteopaths, massage therapists and physios coming from all over England.
Mr Chaitow's workshop was no less than mindblowing, his work is based on his own research as well as his peers; he still is at the cutting edge of this industry and he never fails to impress.
The School regularly runs workshops by other leaders in the field such as John Gibbons who is the official soft tissue therapist for the Oxford rowing team, James Earls who is an international lecturer in fascial release and this summer we will have the pleasure to host a workshop with George Kusaleos from the USA.
Also the Massage Training School is one of only few schools in England be able to provide the BTEC level 5 qualification in Sports and Remedial Massage Therapy. This is the highest level of training available in this country at this time.
